Miguel Aleman is a mixed-use master plan in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon. The site is on the corner between Miguel Alemán and S. Eugenio streets.
The project aims to generate an environment of social and familial coexistence, in a green environment, with open and pleasant spaces where recreational activities can be carried out without leaving home, following a new concept called Town Center. These spaces are associated with a commercial offer that includes selling services, with gyms, hotels, pharmacies, and supermarkets, to mention some possible areas.
The master plan is divided into two uses: residential and mixed-use commercial and is composed of 6 residential and 2 commercial macro lots. In the same way, from the urban design approach, the road scheme is made up of two main roads, one of which crosses the complex transversally from north to south, considered the core axis due to its connection within the commercial block and the greater vehicular flow, and another of them that crosses it longitudinally from west to east, considered as a local residential vehicular flux, as well as distributors and accesses to each of the towers and commercial areas.
As part of the proposal, urban squares, and green walkways were considered as areas for recreation, social coexistence, and meeting points, being part of the experience proposed for Miguel Aleman. Likewise, following trends in landscape architecture, the intention is to promote the use of roofs or terraces as green areas, using them as sports areas, parks, recreational spaces, etc.
